Do some body types respond better to weight training than others?
Every individual responds differently to both resistance training and cardiovascular exercise. It is important to take into account everything from schedule, existing level of fitness, nutrition, health, and even stress levels when determining nutrition and training. There is a classification system known as "somatotype" that puts people into three general categories, or body types.
The three body types are endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph. Research suggests that the body type does in fact impact how one responds to training and nutrition. It can be very useful to know your body type as well as how you should adjust your training and nutrition. To learn more about body types, read Body Types for Training: Ectomorph, Endomorph, and Mesomorph

The 21-day Myth
You've heard the cliché before: just twenty-one days to a new habit. Is that really all it takes? Wouldn't it be nice if 3 weeks really were the magic number? Think about how easy that would be. (more...)
